I am interested in photojournalism.....?

I am 14, and am a gifted writer and photographer. I pursue other things like piano, guitar, flute, and videography and producing/editing my own movies. I enjoy reading, cheerleading, gymnastics, and all stated above. I am thinking ahead of my career, as I am now entering 9th grade this year----high school for real-----and need to start thinking about what I want to do. Is photojournalism right for me? I have traveled on occasion before and would love a job requiring that. Such as working for National Geographic as a photojournalist. And if it is right for me (which i strongly think it is), what schools can i go to to pursue this? preferably centered around the new england area of america. any ideas? please help me i really am disconcerted about my future.
