What exactly is a "Safety Corridor"? What is it's purpose?
For example, there is a stretch of Interstate-10 between El Paso, Texas and Las Cruces, New Mexico that is called a "safety corridor". Speeding fines are doubled in this so called "safety corridor". That was the only explanation on the road signs, but what is it exactly?
