My Dr. prescribed Adipex to me to lose some weight quickly - I am 5'8 - 160 pounds. Not much overweight just?

need to get in shape and need a little kickstart in helping me start my diet and exercise routine. My problem has been just being so tired when I get off of work etc., or being able to wake up early enough in the morning. I'm a little weary of the side effects, although meds. normally don't affect me in any way that they always say they CAN. So my biggest question is - is it ok for me to drink say a few gles of wine or beer, etc. over the holidays while taking this med? I see it says they advise NOT to...need help with anyone who has taken this before!! Thanks guys!
