How do i make a quilt lay flat against the wall?

I'm trying to hang a quilt on the wall and it has a dowel in the top hanging it up, but the bottom and sides of it don't hang flat against the wall. Is there anything I can use to stick the sides against the wall without damaging the quilt or wall/paint?
