Late 1970's, early 1980's School?

Back when I was in 3rd grade, we hade this huge display box in our clroom. It had these plastic mini reading brochures that we had to read, then a matching card with questions about what we just read. As you moved thru each card/brochure, the colors changed with each level of difficulty. Does anyone know or remember what this was called?
