How do I tell my girlfriend that I truly hate her best friend?

Her friend smokes weed, drinks (a lot), is very promiscuous with guys ( seriously, it seems like she's with a new guy every time I see her) and she parties way too often. I don't want her to start following the same path as her best friend of 12 years. I don't mind if they hang out if I'm there too, but I don't want her getting too into that stuff because I have a VERY bad history with everything except for being promiscuous. She also has been sober from all drugs for over a year now. I don't want her to have a relapse, not even one. I can ure that she won't slip if I'm there with them. Don't be afraid to tell me that I'm too worried about this, because I want to know if I am.

So we're gonna writing essays about an economy that the professor makes up. For example using the y=[a+b(y-tax)]+I+G formula where you gotta find Y aka GDP. and Yf is given. Yf is the preferred GDP.In order to figure out budget surplus, deficit, balanced; do I compare Y with Yf or tax with G. like for example the equation Y=500+.9(y-600)+800+800 and Yf 15000. Y ends up being 15600. So would I compare 15000 and 15600 or 600 and 800? Cuz if I compare 15000 and 15600 there would be a surplus and if I compare 800 and 600 there would be a deficit. Help?

However, if he continues to treat you badly, why make the effort to talk to him? If he really wants to start a relationship with you then he needs to put effort in it too. thats funny!!! well the funny part is you put him on blast and he deserves it!!! there is no excuse for him not helping. my cousin used to get like 15 to 25 dollar child support checks too and he ex now owes alot in back pay, i'm not sure how much but from like the last 2 to 3 years she aint got ****. my husbadn used to be a waiter at denny's and you have some real good days and some real shitty days, and olive garden is a little more up scale than denny's but not too much and if he is not a good waiter people wont tip well but also, they enter in the amount of tips in the computer at the end of the day theirselves, my usband would pull in 50 to 60 or so and report only 2 or 3 dollars for the day, because the more tips you report the more taxes are taken out of your check, the only tips that are set and they can't change are credit card tips. so he could be purposely reporting a small amount so not that much of his check gets taken for child support which is real shitty. and i'm sure you figured this out by now, but the child support office is'nt and wont be much of a help at all. the way i see things is, if me and my husband ever split then i would give him a chance to help with our 3 kids, i can understand him not wanting to hand me cash, and thats cool as long as if i tell you the kids need diapers, or wipes, or shoes or take me grocery shopping so you can see what i am buying and pay for it, or heres the light bill can you go pay it, that way he knows where the money is going and that it is indeed being spent on the kids or things that are needed, thats fine as long as he would do it, if not then the hell with you and i'm putting you on child support. kids are not cheap in anyway shape or form. he knows damn good in well how much your getting a month, i'm sure he keeps tabs on it, what in the hell is 3.32 gonna buy??? not even a damn happy meal!!! if he does'nt start helping other than these piece of **** checks dont let him see his daughter and if he whines and cries about it, oh well, he needs to help out and be there financially as well as emotionally!!!! good luck and if that was me, my husbands life would be a living hell!!!!!

My doctor is worried that I haven't come on my period yet (last had a period on 3rd April and started Cerazette the same day, last had on 14th May and came off Cerazette on 16th May, had spotting for about a day about 2 weeks later and nothing since) and am displaying almost every sign of being pregnant. He has now decided to take a blood pregnancy test of which I should have the results on Friday. However, he is also arranging for me to have an ultrasound next week and to have a l probe?!?! Connection problems!?

Have just switched to Sky wireless broadband from BT wireless broadband today. Laptop connection working great but PC connection not working. Have checked all the connections as per Sky recommendations (ie LAN settings, web browser settings, etc). If I do get connected it will display the Sky homepage but I cannot surf any furrther than this - always comes up "Cannot find server". Also when I go to shut down the computer the following 'end program' screens come up: "Hsm sink window", Connections tray" and "explorer.exe". Am having problems also in the Network connections window - when I right click on any of the connections (eg LAN) it takes forever for the dialogue box to come up and the computer has frozen on loads of occasions and I have had to switch off the computer manually. I know there are a lot of queries in this but any advice would be much appreciated as these problems have only started since I switched my broadband today. Thank you in anticipation.

My daughter is in her terrible twos and I need some help!?

My daughter is gorgeous, she's sweet, she's sensitive, she's empathetic, she's very smart for her age (already can recognize over 15 letters of the alphabet). She has my husband (her dad) who adores her, two older brothers who are 7 and 9 and they love her a lot! She has a loving home, loving family. Here's the thing; she's a BRAT! When she doesn't get her way she'll look at you and scream this piercing horrible scream and keep doing it! She'll throw herself backward or on the ground. She hits, spits, scratches and very seldom she'll bite. I've tried yelling, I've tried smacking her fingers, her , I've tapped her mouth. I've even walked away and ignored her. That's what I do when she screams. MOST of the time she's an angel, sweet and loving, ready to help or lend a hug and kiss. But sometimes I have a very hard time. I don't have her in daycare (although I do have two daycare kids who are here during the week) because I don't want her to act like this for anyone else. We've had a LOT of problems with daycares, BAD problems, scary problems and I'm afraid someone is going to get frustrated with her and hit her or punish her badly or hate her and ignore her all day. What can I do that I haven't already done? Any moms and dads or caregivers who have some advice?

How to explain to Scroogey husband why we should have a Christmas Tree?

Our daughter's only one, so this year, it might not matter except for pictures. However, he seems to think we shouldn't waste time or money on it throughout her childhood. He keeps asking what's so good about having a Christmas tree? I have told him that I have fond childhood memories of decorating it with my family. I told him it builds up the anticipation of the season by getting a tree and decorating as a family and seeing the presents sitting under it. I told him it brings more joy to the holiday by letting it be about more than just two days and then back to reality. We are Christian, but he's one of those who thinks that trees have nothing to do with the Jesus part of the story, so there's no point in having them at all. I even tried the tactic of asking if he can accept it's important to me even though he doesn't agree/understand, just like I accept he likes to play MMOs even though I think it's lame he wastes money on them and will sometimes ignore his family because his online friends "need him." I'm from canada, so i don't know if you have petsmart, but the link is at the bottom. but you should only use Aspen wood shavings. All the other shavings have fumes that are harmful to your Guinea pig. You probably shouldn't use dust, they can and will inhale it, this is not good. I have heard carefresh is good, but it is manmade so i think it may have chemicals. Do NOT buy a bedding called Fluff, it is made of cotton and your hamster can get tangled in it, it also has lots of chemicals. So your G. pig can make a soft bed, you can through some unscented toliet paper in their cage. Hope this was helpful!

A question of purpose, in regards evolution ...?

Evolution offers a person the "freedom" to set them self up as the final arbiter of what constitutes "right" and "wrong". If evolution is true then there is no higher being to whom a person must give an account of how they lived their life when they depart from this earth. Why won't my toilet flush?

I'm moving from my apt soon but in the mean time I obviously need a functioning toilet. I noticed a few days ago that the toilet would run all day, not overflowing but that noise it makes when the bowl is filling with water. I notified the managment office and they sent someone over, he told me it was normal and that since i'am on the first floor it's because I'am beside the boiler room. I am pregnant and have used 5 hour energy drinks. Is that bad?

I have used the 5 hour energy drinks in very little moderation. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and have never drank a full bottle. I only use this about 2-3 times a month. What I do is take a small sip and then throw away the rest. I never get the niacin flush or jittery. It just perks me a little. I don't need it...I just use it when I am literally falling asleep at my desk at work. So I'm not ingesting all the caffeine or the vitamins. I just want to know how bad it is to even drink that little bit.

Exercise is also good but you need to realize that you cannot over do it...it is all based on what your body can handle. You shouldn't worry about trying to burn all of those bad calories....being on a strict diet especially so young your bound to slip up but you cannot punish yourself for it! All you should do is try not to go so crazy next time! No your limits.

I just recently broke up with a guy I went out with. He actually broke up with me because "he wanted me to text him more". I was really sick these past 3 weeks with bronchitis or something and I couldn't text him because I was in bed sleeping. That was the day after I hung out with him at downtown. You really never cared about me" I was just so shocked at this when I saw this on my cell phone. Now I'm just plain depressed about this. I want to get this out of my head and move on. I saw a long (20 minute) news report on the double murder suicide and a doctor explained that because of the hits Benoit had taken during his career he had the brain of an 80 year old altseimers patient. Actually your team looks pretty good. You have many of the players I have. A few to watch out for: Nate McClouth has been pretty bad since arriving in Atlanta. You may want to put Damon in his OF spot until McClouth shows he can put up the numbers he did in Pitt. Roberts has been having back issues so keep an eye on that. I am not high on Matt Garza and think both Arroyo and Daisuke are better. Champman is having injury problems already, plus he is only slated to be the 4th or 5th starter. Never liked De La Rosa. Lilly is injured and I think is missing a month. Fuentes will get saves but he will also get your ERA and WHIP up there. Hoffman is old and brittle. Anything out of him is a plus. Why does my sim card only work in a Blackberry?

I have a Blackberry 8700c. I got it from my company I work for. They pay the bill. I've had the phone since before AT&T bought out Cingular. So the sim card is still a Cingular sim card. Does anybody know why when I put the sim card in another AT&T or Cingular phone, I can only make calls? I can't use the internet unless the sim card is in a Blackberry. I've put my sim card in my girlfriend's Blackberry Bold and it worked fine. I've tried it in a Samsung Blackjack and can only make calls. Any ideas?

if you're concerned and you don't feel this is something that can wait go ahead and take her in. mastitis usually occurs after a recent litter of pups. a vet is going to be able to tell you what it is exactly and how to best help the dog. warm compresses are the best thing you can do right now. she will more than likely be fine until morning, but again if you're worried i would go ahead and take her on in now, the er vet can at least give her some pain meds and tell you what's going on. good luck and hope everything turns out ok.

Is this acute bronchitis?

Early last week, I woke up with a sore throat, it got progressively worse and then I had a cold aswell, the next few days, my voice was very hoarse and I had a persistant tickly cough. A few days ago after using a nasal decongestent, my cold cleared up, my voice is no longer hoarse and my cough is not as bad or frequent but I still cough more often than usual, I am currently using a honey and lemon medicine but it is having little effect. I am wondering if anyone has an idea of how long this cough will take to clear?

Gas Stove, How do I get a larger flame II?

I know for a fact that the house was set up for a propane system. The house was also heated by propane but the furnace and original 500 or 1,000 pound tank was removed. The regulator I have is a low pressure regulator, (probably more geared towards a grill then a house stove). There is no adjustments on the regulator itself. The line was left exposed outside with another regulator attached to it. I had to dig it out of the snow. There is a possibility of moisture in the lines. I've lived around propane stoves all my life and know how high the flames should get. At present I would be lucky if I could use the oven to dehydrate food. It might be able to reach 200 to 250 degrees tops. This is a bit of a cob job as well due to the fact that I couldn't get the right sized fitting between the tank and the regulator. I currently have 2 pieces on it that I believe are cast iron. Everything is tight with pipe tape to ensure there is no leaks. The amount of flow that I have coming out of the end of the regulator is barely enough to feel. Am I doing something wrong, do I need a larger tank with more pressure and a high pressure regulator? The Saints defense will be there downfall. Even the Redskins scored 30+ points on them. The Colts offense can't score many points on a real stout defense (like the Ravens). Jets are not consistent enough. Favre has been great for the Vikings but they can be stopped, as can the Ravens and Packers. Fuel problem in Honda Accord 1994 cont.?

Addendum; Before there was gas when l removed the fuel line. and when l cranked it earlier. l sopped up the spilled gas. today l cranked it and not a drop came out. The line is disconnected from the filter on the engine side. So, the filter is still in place. The line was removed after the filter, where it emits gas.Don't know how old the filter is. l never changed it. l got the car used. It has 200,000 miles on it. l may have put 10 or 20 K on it. the filter could be original. l don't know. So, the next step is to change the filter and see if it starts. Brad

Either he is having a hard time holding on to the pacifier on his own. You could try a different type of pacifier. And another thing, even at 2 months old babies are very intelligent. Let him cry it out for a little while before rushing to put it back in his mouth every time. He knows that if he spits it out, mommy is going to run right back to put it back in his mouth. I was pulling out of a private drive and i was heading to whataburger which was a lil to the left, but i was going out straight, i check if any cars were ping by and it was a trail blazer who was about 40 feet away, so i could just go through and then when i start crossing a car that was beside the blazer was speeding beside it so i did not see him, the car stomped on its breaks and skid for a while and i turned left and stepped on the gas to not get hit. the only way i could tell he was speeding was because the trail blazer didnt even hit me, and he skid for a while, im pretty sure you could stop going 40 real easily. But when the officer arrives i said i turned left (not to get hit) but he gave me a ticket for failure to yeild and turning left on a private drive, he misunderstood me, i am 16 and had no driver license but neither did the 28 year old man. i had insureance on the suburban but they didnt cover it, and neither did his, so i am refusing to pay because it was not my fault. and now he wants to sue me for the damages of his car. what should i do? I was just wondering what you thought, I have been having some pregnancy symptoms lately but I was told you can get those with Mirena. Well I tested about 3 or 4 months ago because I was feeling nausea every morning but it was negative. I also heard that you can get a negative with mirena inserted. When will a pregnancy test be accurate for me?!!?

Hi, I am having alot of weird symptoms (dizzy, cold, stomach issues) that are not PMS and I need to know if I am pregnant. I keep getting negative HPT's. I ovulated on the 22 of May and my period is due the 7th of June. I think I am 11 DPO. I know a lot of other women are saying they got a BFP on day 11, but I also have a longer cycle (33 days). Does this mean I am not pregnant or am I testing too soon? When did you test pregnant? Any advice and knowledge is greatly appreciated!

My best friend- self harming to the extreme....?

My best friend (whom means more to me than anything in the world) recently has split up with a boyfriend. She's had a past for becoming infatuated and obsessed with boys- she stalked and obsessed over a boy who didn't like her back for years etc etc. She'd never had a boyfriend before and now he's broken up with her she feels like she cannot be happy without love- she needs it and I quote 'I think I'm going crazy. Noone needs love as much as this- this isn't normal.' She tells me that she's been feeling extremely lonely and now she has a huge amount of cuts on her wrists- I'm not a cryer but I cried so much at seeing this.. and her explanation for this was 'I just wanted to see my blood, it's so weird and lovely it being all inside of my body.' Please please please tell me what's going on with my friend and how I can help- it's killing me because I love her more than anything. Thank you.

It is a Snapper lawn mower with a bag. But very little seems to be getting to the bag. The blade is not on backwards and not bent. I sharpened it. There is no obstruction in the chute other than gr. These were foot high weeds but I cut them down first with a weed wacker. My other Snapper did not clog up this way doing the same job.

I have actually had this problem before. It's kind of a sensitive thing to bring up to your girl but i eventually found a way to hint at it without embarring her. What i did was i grabbed the shitty underwear, cut out the shitty part of it and dropped it into a cup of milk, after that i stirred it up a bit until it got a chocolate color and i served it to her. i had a similar problem last year... first of all you need to take a break... take a whole day, maybe two, and do absolutely nothing to do with your work. then, start with studying something you like. take breaks every half hour. eat well, that doesn't mean you can't have sweets, but don't forget to eat real food! and finally try not to get too stressed, you always do better than you think! ;D

i have a pre-fab memphis car audio slot ported enclosure that came with my svc 15" M1 and after that piece of **** fried (first day i got it)... i put a normal piece of mdf over the opening and cut a 12" hole in it because i had an old piece of crap infinity kappa 12.1 layin around....i threw that in there and wired it up on my zx 1000.1 @ 4 ohm and its 10 times louder and 1000 times lower than the 15..... my buddy had the same situation when he blew his orion h2 i did the same thing but we put a 10" infinityreference in a 12" box and it was louder than the h2....so when my 15 gets back im just gunna sell it or trade it for a nasty 12 to put in the 15 box its soooo much louder you have no idea

Right, I'm so sorry for this, I know you guys are sick of these type of questions. Basically, I'm at college, doing A levels in order to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. There's this guy who I have liked from the first day which is quite surprising. But he always smiles at me or waves, whenever we see each other. Get rid of Swift, normal moves are not good against any types. Instead give him an electric move or ground move so he is good against other types. Don't give him another fire move, you already have enough. If I were you I would probably take out one of the fire move that you have and give him a move of another type. You never want a pokemon to only know moves of its own type, it will be weak when fighting other types fire is not good against.

When was the last time you went on a picnic?

Do families still go on picnics as many of us seniors did years ago? Dad fired up the charcoal grill that seemed to take forever, mom had a large metal picnice basket that looked like it was a woven basket with a special tablecloth inside. There was (homemade) fried chicken and potato salad, biscuits, sweet tea and lemonade. What picnics were special for you, family reunions, with a special boy/girlfriend, scouts, church picnics? With the economy as such, wouldn't it be nice if families would get back to some basics that not only help save some money but make time to share quality time that is very much needed among families. It seems everyone is so busy nowadays, sometimes the family suffers. We don't even know many of our family members kids and grand kids anymore. If I had my druthers, living near my family, I would ask them to join in and have a Sunday dinner every week, or at least once a month, taking turns hosting, and make it pot luck. We are blessed with family, yet we do not always take or make the time to spend with them. Our children and grand children are losing out as far as far as the importance of family. I just happen to be family oriented. Call me sentimental, (figuratively speaking that is.) Pardon the length of my 'more detail.'
